Free Ride Outfitters is a veteran and family owned business in Lexington, TN. We're conveniently located not far off I-40 right between Memphis and Jackson. This store is a one-of-a-kind experience that uniquely combines three of our loves - horses, motorcycles, and leather.
Ashley Cavelle grew up riding horses in many disciplines and showed in a majority of those as well. This includes Western Pleasure and Equitation, Hunter, Jumpers, Dressage, Driving, Speed Events, and more. Ashley also grew up on the back of a motorcycle, and began riding her own bike in 2012 on a 1986 Suzuki Intruder. She is currently still riding her 2010 Fat Boy Low, her first Harley.
In 2018, Ashley started Knotty Hide Leather and began creating leather art, doing custom work for buyers across the US and Canada. The business moved with her family to Tennessee in 2022 where she continued her work with leather. In early 2025, the opportunity to open a public location for leather work also allowed the chance to fill areas of need within the region for both a quality tack store and access to quality motorcycle gear. Free Ride Outfitters was born.
